Neurobiological:

The loss of Mrs. B’s father and the departure of her son going to college might have caused her brain to produce chemicals that caused her to become depressed, and have the feeling of loneliness. With those negative feelings, Mrs. B would most likely not be able to focus on the creating interesting and fun-to-learn lessons. With her being less concentrated with making creative lessons her priority, this would cause her to become more unorganized, and produce lessons that were not up to her usual standards.

Humanistic:

When both her father and her son were around, Mrs. B most likely felt like there was a sense of security, and that there were people in her life that cared for her. But, with her father’s death and son’s departure to college, Mrs. B no longer feels like there are people there for her, thus causing her to feel lonely and depressed. She felt like there were people there to love her when her father and son were around, but now that they are gone, she no longer feels like there are people that love her. This feeling
