A major debate in the field of colleges and universities education revolves around the issue of whether the tuition should be free and paid by the government. Even though a lot of people have gotten into this problem, there still not have a definite conclusion. Everyone has a different attitude towards this issue. As far as I am the concern, the government should contrive to achieve an appropriate balance between itself and personal funding for the tuition. It needless to say that, if the government pays all the tuition by itself, the taxes toward taxpayers will increase dramatically. However, if all the tuitions are paid by students, it will cause the situation that some intelligent students can’t afford to go to universities. The college and universities education is especially of great importance. Because these ways of education are strongly connected to students’ future careers. In terms this point, the government has the responsibility to give talented students opportunities to go to universities. For education. Because of some traditional concepts, they don’t even aware of some students, colleges and universities tuitions are unreachable, their families can’t afford these without loans from banks. In order not to give so much pressure to families, some students give up the opportunities to go to further educations. Thus, the government lost plenty of intelligent people.
