Betrayal of a Hustler

By: B.L.U.N.T

This is an action packed thriller that will have you wanting to read more and more and anticipating the next novel. It is a story of a New York hustler, Chino, and his lifestyle, love life, friendships, and the choices he makes that will change his, and loved ones lives forever. Will he be able to correct his mistakes before things get out of hands? Can Chino keep the love of his life, Lisa, from danger? Will anything go back to the way it was?

Late night on a deserted dock on the harbor Chino waits for his best friend, Donell, who just recently got out from a 6 year prison sentence. They were good friends for more than 20 years. He was Chinos right hand man. Finally he shows up and they meet the men with their “product”. The deal went bad, Chino and Donell ended up murdering the two thugs and taking 1 million dollars in pure cocaine.

This didn’t make the biggest drug lord in Brooklyn, Shark, very happy. Chino, being as street smart as he was, made it look as if the two thugs never showed up. This information threw Shark way off their trail, for now.

Shark raised Chino from a little boy. Chinos father was Sharks right hand man before he was murdered doing a job for Shark. Chino secretly held a grudge against Shark because of this. Maybe this was the reason why Chino took Sharks stuff, but as far as he knew his thugs ran off with the coke.

They headed back to Donell’s house to cut and divide the fortune they had just received. Little did Donell know that Chino and his girl, Lisa, were madly in love since he got locked up. This would lead to complication between the two later in the story.

Meanwhile back at Sharks penthouse he called his girlfriend, Shelley, and his right hand man, Lil’ James, to his side and asked them to gather information about what happened that night at the harbor.

Back at Donell’s, Lisa and Donell were going at it about how Donell just got out and already got into some stuff. Lisa had enough and left. She was fed up with Donell and his crap and needed to get away. Donell began to worry and got Chino and they both went looking for her. Chino knew where she was the whole time, but he didn’t want Donell to find her. He wanted her all to himself.

While they were out looking for Lisa Donell started to act a little funny. He began shaking and sweating. He blacked out for a few seconds and snapped back. Chino wanted to take him to the hospital but Donell refused.

He decided to take him to Lisa’s friend’s house, Camaria. Lisa and Camaria have been friends since they could remember. Camaria wasn’t havin’ it. She told him to bring Donell to the hospital. But Chino told her Donell didn’t want to go. Chino brought Donell to Camaria’s house and left

Chino had business to take care of. He two-wayed his main man, Knees. He told him to round up the boys and meet at the clubhouse. Now Chino was a leader of a youth drug dealing ring. All his workers were between 13 and 16. The reason was they were too young to be tried as adults. At the club house he collected the money and sent them out one more time. Then he went to Lisa’s hotel room. He had no intention of telling Lisa about Donell.

On his way to Lisa’s he felt like somebody was following him. He looked in his rear-view mirror and saw a green car following him. He decided to test it. He got off the bridge and went to the gas station. He got out the car and went into the gas station. There it was, it drove past but Chino waited. He called knees and told him to get the boys together and meet him at the gas station. When the boys got there the car passed again. He knew he was being followed.

He thought it was Lil’ James. He didn’t like Lil’ James, he threatened Chino with his life. Chino wanted to get rid of him. He came up with a plan, he told the boys the plan then they left. They cornered the car and shot it up from the front and the back. Chino saw blood splatter on the inside of the car. They left before the cops got there.

Lisa decided to come out of hiding and went to Camaria’s. As soon as she got there Camaria told her about Donell. Lisa flipped. She called the ambulance and the hauled Donell to the hospital. The paramedics kept asking Lisa questions but she didn’t have any answers. She was gone the whole time.

When they got to the hospital he was immediately brought into the E.R. Lisa stayed in the lobby. Dr. Brennan greeted Lisa and told her to go the receptionist and get the forms to fill out. Lisa filled out the necessary forms and waited for what seemed like forever but it was only 2 hours. Dr. Brennan emerged from the double doors and told Lisa that Donell had a rare form of Leukemia. Lisa was horrified.

Shark was still waiting for Lil’
