Executive Summary
Purpose of the Report
The purpose of my report was to research luxury hotels in Nevada and the Caribbean, and make a recommendation for the location of the next executive business conference. Prerequisites for the site included minimal transfer time from the airport, suitable meeting facilities with hotel support, onsite restaurants, lounges, fitness facilities with golf and entertainment nearby. As is commonly practiced, costs for travel and entertainment were not explored as these additional expenses will be charged to each participants division and not accumulated with conference costs.
Summary
My report researched two luxury resort locations in Bahamas, two in Nevada, and one in Bermuda. Each luxury hotel was a short commute from the airport. All locations had suitable meeting facilities with supportive business centres. Restaurants, bars and workout rooms could be found at each location with golf courses and entertainment available onsite or nearby.
Recommendations
The Palazzo Hotel-Resort-Casino, in Las Vegas, is the location I would recommend to plan the next corporate conference. It is affiliated with the Sands Expo and part of the Venetian hotel, providing professionals who have a proven track record of putting all the components together for a successful and unforgettable corporate event. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport, new meeting facilities with the latest technological equipment, numerous restaurants and lounges, with entertainment onsite, golf nearby and competitive pricing. And being in Las Vegas, the variety of restaurants and entertainment are endless. With efficient preparation and execution, creating a successful conference at this resort should leave a positive impression on all participants!
