Jim Crow Laws
Jim Crow was a man who created laws. These laws affected many people's lives during the 1960s. These laws made it much harder for blacks in the United States. There were many reasons to the creation of these laws. Around the 1960s blacks didn't have the opportunity to do many things. These laws changed many privileges and opportunities. It changed how things were after these laws were taken away. The Jim Crow laws affected, harmed and ruined many blacks lives as well as white people
These laws were created to separate the two races blacks and whites. Everyone had to follow and had to take into consideration that “whites were better than blacks, smarter than blacks and had to be well behaved.” even sexual relations the two races shared would have to be punished/penalized for. Not all whites are good people and not all blacks are good peoples. I believe some blacks never had that rich and loving childhood they always wished to live that whites have the ability to live. People act out, make bad choices but these actions don’t come out of the blue. Childhood or past destruction can be the reason why people act out. The way they explain how “dirty” blacks are and make it seem as if whites are “clean” citizens is an example of inequality that causes actions like this. People wonder why blacks act out but they never had a chance to make a first good impression. Jim Crow was a man who created laws. These laws affected many people's lives during the 1960s.
