Seamus Heaney Bio

Seamus Heaney was born on April 13,1939, deceased August 30,2013 at the age of 72. He was born near castledawson and toomebridge, norther Ireland. He was influence by his own passion, leaning towards his masterpiece. He was part of the formalism movement. Making him well known throught the late 1900s. Winning the Nobel prize for literature in 1995, for works of lyrical beauty and ethical depth, which promoted everyday miracles and the living past.

Naming three of ten famous poems include, death of a naturalist, Requiem for the croppies, two lorries, etc. He was friends with Helena Vendler, and influence by john Keats, William butler Yeats, historical influence, etc.

Something interesting about Seamous Heaney, he had friends that were free masons. Free masonry deals with secrecy, many people don’t really know much about free masons. I'm sure seamus heaney knew about esoteric knowledge which I find interesting,
