FedEx, McDonalds, Microsoft, BellSouth are all successful businesses that began in the exact same place, the exact same way; they are all ideas that were “born” inside the mind of a present or fledgling entrepreneur. Before their spark of business there was training, training from other sources. Their sources may have come from books, teachers, classmates or even the internet. My journey through the course of business is through three sources or forms of communication, which will instill in me the understanding or importance of running a successful business.

An available supply that can be drawn on when needed explains rEsource. This collection of links for students allows the easiest approach for research. From articles, journals and references the rEsource is the easiest for me to adapt to since I have worked with blackboard during my undergraduate years. rEsource was the first online reference database I have since of its kind, it allows me to have any piece of information at my finger tips for any class discussion. In training, there are not many forms of help at one my go to for guidance. The resource is there for any task of research needed.

Learning Teams

The business world requires people to work successfully in teams that depend on

leadership. Learning Teams brings together classmates from around the globe, working to

achieve common goals and develop interpersonal skills needed for effective participation

in small groups. The team process allows individuals to learn from one another through

participation in discussion and decision making. This concept of shared learning

responsibility and transfer of knowledge comprises an element of the program’s

educational philosophy. The skills one learns in learning teams, such as how to combine

and share talents, experience and learning resources are held in high regard by

corporations and organizations. Workers who function successfully in collaborative,

team-oriented work environments are often more productive and creative qualities

employers look for in a highly competitive market. Learning teams, along with the

collaborative learning environment of the classroom, can provide students with the

competitive edge they need to achieve their personal and professional goals.

For students enrolled in an Master of Business Administration program, we all have
