With the buzzword “START UP INDIA, STAND UP INDIA” going around, it seems that Government is keen to promote the start-up culture in India. The launch of Startup India Mission will be taken in a positive limelight by the people. Undoubtedly this shall also help in infusing a new vibes throughout the country such as ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’, ‘Make in India ‘and ‘Digital India’ campaign has been able to do. But how successful will Start-up mission will be is a question that can be answered only as the time passes. The government needs to ensure that there is a Supportive Ecosystems for Startups to grow in India.
Methodology
In order to analyze the “Ecosystems of Startups in India”, Analyzing the 4 necessary criteria is important to have a next Silicon Valley in one country. Following are the criteria’s.
- Market: A large growing, rich market motivating for entrepreneurs.
- Capital: Availability of Funding at different stages from angels.
- Infrastructure: Networks of people and internet infrastructure / logistics/transportation in a country.
- Regulations: Ease of incorporation, and the lowest cost of compliance, help getting started, flexible labor laws.
In analyzing the ecosystems in India following Methodology is to be used
1. Secondary data shall be collected from various blogs, articles, newspapers etc.
2. Surveys shall be done so as to know as how the young minds in India have a perception in regards to the Environment supporting the startups.
3. In-depth interviews and survey of few entrepreneurs to check the present situation.
