In today’s world, it is all too prevalent to see more and more people hungry for other peoples money, but can you really blame them? From my viewpoint, acting in an ethical manner comes from each and every individual, each having learned from the enviroment in which they have grown and developed. When you look at it, every job has right and wrongs. Three main subject to put business in would be honesty, fairness, equity and responsibility.
My up bringings in life was to always tell the truth no matter what. So that is what I try and stay with through life. At my job, I think honesty is one of the most important things. Where I work, there Is a lot of money going around. We sell glasses day in to day out and leave the store with about $2-5000 a day. Its kind of hard not taking the money but that’s where honesty and integrity kicks in. We have had sometimes where money have been missing from the store, and they blame basically just me and take it out my pay check, which I personally don’t think is right. From since Ive been working there, the doctors wife and I (my supervisor) have not like each other for such reasons, so the word around that she tells everyone is, “ If anything goes missing, blame Joey”. I try to keep my honesty in the business though.
Working at any job with any person, both bodies would want there to be fairness in the business. At Eyez in an hour, we get our fairness. We get major discounts on glasses. instead of us paying $100 on one pair of glasses, we basically just get them for free. So for example, that would be equity in the store for us employees. In modern day, most people don’t like being fair in there business and that’s what makes them fail as a whole. Having a job as a young teenager,
