Clerk of the Court for Workers Compensation Administration is the primary resource for pleadings to be filed by attorneys and injured workers.  Docket clerks process all filings, and assign new WCA numbers for cases on injured workers. Leadership introduced a new Case Management system replacing the old DOS Power Term system. The new system will eliminate duplication errors and be user friendly for the clerks.  

Job Aid Introduction

Leadership will introduce the job aid for the new Case Management System for general docketing procedures to be the reference and step-by-step job aid. It is a visual aid presenting information and directions in a specific sequence. The job aid will illustrate steps to log into the Case Management system.

Training Method

Job aid will be on the job training introduced as a behavioral method because the focus is as if it were a real or simulated situation and to develop the skill set of the clerk using the system. The docket clerks will be taught the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed for the clerks to perform the specific job of processing and filing pleadings within the clerk’s office and work environment. Docket clerks can learn in an environment in which they will need to practice the knowledge and skills taught in the on-the-job training.
