Leader company on the consumption products for the care and personal and familiar hygiene. They offer products that had improve in a significant way the life quality of people like: diapers for kid and grown-ups, hygienic paper, sanitary towels, Tissues, napkins among others. Kimberly-Clark Peru has three product lines: Personal Care, Familiar Care and Institutional line.

Kimberly-Clark have won a lot of award and certificates, some of them are specified lines above:

  • 2005 ISO 9001
  • 2007 “PREMIO DE CALIDAD EMPRESARIAL” by USIL
  • 2007 “PREMIO A LA GESTION RESPONSABLE DEL MANEJO DE RESIDUOS SOLIDOS” by the ENVIROMENTAL MINISTRY
  • 2008 ISO 14001 (GESTION AMBIENTAL)
  • 2008 “PREMIO DE MEDALLA PLATA LIDER EN CALIDAD”, by the  SNI

  1. History

  • 1872 Founded by John Kimberly, Charles Clark, Frank Shattuck y Havilah         Babcock, in Neenah,Wisconsin.  The first product elaborated by the corporation was newsprint made with recycled cotton yard and linen
  • 1879 The Scott brothers and cousins signed a partnership agreement launching Scott Paper Co.
  • 1920 Kimberly-Clark create sanitary towels and launch the company Cellucotton Products Company to sell them.
  • 1924  Create Kleenex Tissues
  • 1955 First company within USA to advertise toilett paper through TV. First factory in the USA.
  • 1978 Creation of “Huggies Diapers”
  • 1980  Introduce “Depend” first product for the urinary incontinence
  • 1998 Create Huggies “Little Swimmers”
  • 2000 Kimberly Clark is situated between the two first positions on the “sell Category” among 76 countries.
  • 2001 Anouncement of the Cottonelle Fresh Rollwipes , first disposale absorvent towel around the world
  • 2004 Scotty Dog becomes part of the Wax Museum Madame Tussauds
  • 2006 Launches Huggies Little Walkers
  • 2007 Kimberly-Clark launched a variety of products like “Kotex Supreme, Scott Fresh, Kleenex Aqua y Scott Multiusos”
  • 2010Kimberly Clark Corporation bought Jackson Safety Leader company in industrial safety products.
  • 2011 Kimberly introduces “Kotex Cubierta Dual
  • Nowadays they keep creating innovative products that improve the life quality of their clients.

Ethics is one of the pillars of Kimberly Clark. Since people walk into the offices everybody can see the typical phrase "HOW is as important as WHAT"

They have a special caring of the ethical aspects in every way among all the corporation. A protocol well defined by Kimberly-Clark before the beginning of any event, is the speech of ethics and exercises to reflect the previous talk, by proposing  different cases in which one employer could be situated on a though situation, and see how can they solve that situation. Some of the events that begin with a small Ethic´s Talk are the Olympics, The Seller Day and the Beginning/ending year.
