Personal Goals and Achievements

In life we as humans tend to measure ourselves on our work and accomplishments to prove our success. Human nature requires us to aspire to do vast things with our lives and seek out the means to achieve these accomplishments. Sometimes we get sidetracked and steer off course but we use the goals we set for ourselves to try to keep from steering too far. We set goals for ourselves to keep us focused and on a path to attain our aspirations. In order to complete my course of studies I know I need to acquire good grades and stay focused. By staying focused, goal oriented and not succumbing to outside distractions, the completion of my degree will serve as the motivator and my light at the end of the tunnel.

Obtaining a Career in Accounting

I find mathematics interesting and challenging, whether it be simple math or advanced algebra. In my opinion accounting will offer me a challenging and rewarding career, where I can use my math skills.

Currently I work 24 hours a day four days a week, which leaves very little time for family and taking care of other priorities. As a firefighter and serving my country in the military it is hard to find a career more dangerous and time-consuming. Not
