Selling Plan
Introduction: Hello Sharon, my name is Samantha King and I am a sales representative for Arctic Fox Hair Color. Thank you very much for meeting with me and hearing my proposal. I think we will find this partnership to be mutually beneficial. I know you are a busy person so I’d like to quickly address multiple benefits that our company’s products can offer customers. First, would you mind if I asked you some questions?
-As you sell multiple options in types of color, do you find most of your consumers buy direct dyes due to the ease of the product?
- Yes, direct dyes are simple to use, non-damaging and a great use for new customers with little to no experience.
-What kinds of direct dyes does Sally’s Beauty Supply currently sell?
- The current brand sold at Sally’s is Manic Panic.
-From returns, and customer reviews do you believe customers are satisfied with Manic Panic?
- The satisfaction is divided, we have many repeat customers but also many returns, as they claim the product fades quickly.
-Has any thought been put into adding option for customers, such as another brand?
- No, Manic Panic has brand awareness, and other brands have yet to approach us as a retailer.
-Is the store interested in adding a new option for customers, to increase satisfaction and improve customer return.
- Yes, it is always something we wish to achieve.
-As the current product is sold in many retailers, including common stores such as Walmart, have you had sale decrease?
- Yes, with many deciding to buy color while at their usual place of shopping, our sales have decrease.
-If sales and customer satisfaction rates decline, would you implement a marketing strategy or search for an alternative to the current brand?
- Well we would add another brand as well as partner with the current brand to boost sales.
-If profits increase through sales of a new brand, how would Sally’s use the profits?
- We would use the original profits to bring awareness to the new product, through a marketing campaign.
-In order to be considered as a brand option for Sally’s beauty, would Arctic Fox need to fulfill any obligations?
- We pride our self on having many options within each brand, our dyes tend to have a minimum of 50% of color options, in store, and all color options online, with no less than 10 shades in the line.
- Is it safe to assume that now, with a plateau in sales due to the ease of access, being in partnership with a brand that is sold in only a few retailer is an optimal situation for you?
- Yes of course! We are looking to increase sales once again, and being one of a few retailers to carry the brand would be an excellent way to increase customers, as well as sales.
-Would you be interested in hearing how Arctic Fox products can help you solve the aforementioned problems?
- Of course!
