The Andrews Company
As the CFO of Andrews’ Company, I was responsible for measuring the Andrew’s performance while determining what the financial consequences would have been if the firm maintained its present course or changed it. I was also responsible for recommending how the firm should use its assets. Another major element of the finance area was to locate external financing sources and to recommend the most beneficial mix of financing sources, and determine the financial expectations of the Andrew’s Company.
I have to admit that my responsibilities were very challenging and I learned a lot from this course/and or running a department of a multi-million dollar company. Although Andrew’s ran into some difficulties, we struggled for a successful turn around without any victory. There were many drawbacks that came our way and miscommunication was one factor along with not knowing what was expected from each team member from the beginning, which was one of my problems. Team work was a huge success because by the end of week seven, we really began taking responsibility in each area, in my opinion. One of our team members was able to utilize one of her programs from
