What I Think About Accounting

What I think about accounting?

First, I’m Trisha and as you know I want to further my studies in accounting. Growing up in Guyana I always wanted to be a Nurse but as time went by my mind changed. I changed schools at 9th grade and did both science and business subjects at high school. I did 15 subjects and accounting and business was my favorite.

When I came to Canada I didn’t know what job I would have gotten because I never worked before back home. My main aim was to get a job and go to school. Now that I have a working as a book keeper, it’s quite challenging but in a good way, I like it because it helps you to have a focused mind meaning able to identify frauds and its questions everything.

In class, you said most accountant you know they are boring but for me it depends how one react to their job. Yes, it’s a hard job and need a lot of time but on the other hand while doing your job you also need some amount of fun. For me, not just accountants but other workers, they should have a balance with their social life and their work life.

Why I choose accounts as my future career is because I like challenges. Accounting is not just about balancing
