Synopsis
This case explains the three different departments’ manager’s scenario within a small plastic company which shows the different level of development with regards to situational leadership.

Babita is at D1 level. She is very new to the company, although she is very much committed to her job but she lacks competence. She doesn’t have any idea about the product and the customer itself.
Saroj is at D3 level. He is highly competent and knows much more about the company and its product and has come up with his own capability. But being new to the post, his commitment level is variable; he lacks the confidence although he has knowledge about his department thoroughly.
