Mary Had a Little Lamb[d]

Mary had several little lambs. There was one lamb though that would follow her where ever she went. This became a problem. The problem finally came to a head when the lamb followed Mary to school one day (Goose, 1946).[e] “The lamb would make the children laugh and play” (Goose, 2010 par. 3)[f]. It disrupted the control that the teacher had on the class.  “This was truly against the school house’s rules” (Goose, 1985 pg 48). [g]
