Hello! Many of you may have been on roller coasters hundreds of times. Until last summer, I never even thought about going on one.

A very special person named Billy, who is my boyfriend, convinced me to go to Great Adventures with him. I was very scared and nervous about it. The first ride that he wanted to go on was the kingda ka ,which is a new roller coaster that was supposed to go higher and faster then the other rides in the park. I thought it would be wiser to start off with something a little slower but he didn’t let me.

While waiting in line and about to be the next group to the board the ride, the current group on the ride did not make it all the way up the steep coaster. The cart ended up going backwards instead of going over the hill. This clearly did not seem like a good idea any more but my boyfriend and his friends told me that knowing this only made the ride more exciting.

I boarded the cart and got buckled in, my boyfriend held my hand and before I could speak we were off…slow to start. Then it rocked slightly
