A value that I think is really important in life is friendship. Not really just friendship but honesty in friendship and good friendship. Its important to have friends because its healthy. You know that someone cares about you and always has your back. Without friends I’m sure I would always feel like a loser and I wouldn’t like my life. Its good to be honest with your friends because it’s the only way that you are going to get it back.

Having a good friend is when you know they will pay for your lunch when you are broke or knowing they will have your back if someone talks bad about you. I have a friend that I always go have lunch with after class, sometimes I don’t have cash and sometimes he doesn’t and we never expect each other to pay each other back. I always say, “ a true friend never thinks another friend owes him something.”

It is always good to be honest with your friends. If you aren’t honest with your friends how can they trust you and how can they ever be honest with you? If you talk shit behind a friends back about them and you lie about it they will find out if you really were. Soon your friendship just turns into a fake relationship where you pretend to like each other but you actually hate each other.

I think friendship is almost similar to dating. You go through friendships that last and some end. Sometimes you are friends with someone that you think you really like and then you find out that they are stealing from you or talking shit about you. One thing that really sucks about friends is when they think they are to cool for you. I remember in middle school my best friend thought he was to cool for me at the end of like the 7th grade. He started hanging out with the popular 8th graders and when ever I said what’s up or just tried to talk to him he would kind of snub me. It was really sad and it made me angry.
