Into the wild Rewrite

Chris McCandless's drive to want to do more in life than just wanting to have a family, to live the day to day job and simply just being apart of the status quo was just not the life for him. McCandless along with other men who ventured out into the wilderness, have a certain yearning to be more than a suburban father/mother was not necessarily uncommon. By testing our limits and venturing out to engage in tasks that most people would not do is a way for men/women to feel “accomplished” by living life truly to the fullest.

Chris McCandless was a successful young man, he went to one of the top liberal art schools in the country, Emory University. McCandless was at “A” student, top of his class. He also read a lot of books that were written by transcendentalists such as Jack London, Thoreau and many other famous writers that thought outside the box.

Chris left everything behind and made a name for himself because of many reasons such as he did not trust anyone anymore, he did not agree with alot of the modern 20th century ideas, and he's been wanting to explore and to learn to accept himself for awhile. McCandless studied a lot about African Culture, mostly about how people are suffering from a shortage of food/clean water. So by him knowing all of these things and him being aware of what's going on in the world he wanted to donate his money to something meaningful. Chris decided to donate to OXFAM which is an organization
