The story of King Arthur is that of an aged one. People have been spreading the legends of Arthur for over 1500 years. Most people view Arthur as the dominating King with his lovely queen, and his round table of the world’s best knights. Strapped to his side is Excalibur the sword of legend. Yes, we see that most of the stories involve these things and other objects and beings that make up the legend, but what we do not have is a concrete story to the myth, the man, or the legend. Stories are said and read each of them a little different never created a parallel. In my research I am looking at the movies of the 21st century on Arthur and showing the similarities and differences that today’s stories have from each other. In doing so I will be using two books, the first being “King of the Middle March / Kevin Crossley-Holland,” and the other being “.King Arthur the truth behind the legend / Rodney Castleden”. Both of these books have different views and standpoints to the story or the truth
