Mexican Independence Day is the day in which Mexico Declared independence from the Spanish Rule in Spain. What most don’t know is that it actually celebrates the day Miguel Hidalgo is believed to have made the cry of independence, “El Grito de la Independencia,” in the town of Dolores. Which is located in the north - central part of the Mexican state Guanajuato.

Hidalgo was one of the nation's leaders during the time of the war on independence with Spain. His speech, el Grito de Dolores, was made September the sixteenth in eighteen - ten to motivate the people to rise up against the way of the Spanish regime. Though no one knows what was actually stated by Hidalgo, his words worked in his favor and the people worked together to form an army.

The army of people fought against the Spanish soldiers for independence, but into the battle Hidalgo is captured and killed on the day of July thirtieth eighteen
