One Species Many differences and Numerous Similarities
There are numerous types of dogs, according to (psychologytoday.com) there are as many as three hundred and thirty nine different breeds of dog breeds. Each one of those dogs has something individually unique about them. Some have pointy ears and some have ears that flop over. There are also numerous different size, color, shape of the dogs. Each dogs DNA is different but close to be the same, they all have things that are unique and make them stand out. Same of the dogs are domestic and some are feral.
The Gray Wolf is an ancestor of the domestic dog. Gray wolves were once common throughout all of North America, but were exterminated in most areas of the United States by the 1930s. Today they are mainly located around Canada, Alaska, the Great Lakes, Northern Rockies and Pacific Northwest. Wolves live, travel and hunt in packs of seven or eight. The alpha female and male are typically pack leaders that track and hunt prey, choose den sites, establish the pack’s territory. Wolves are normally grey, black, or white, have lots of hair, claws, and weigh up to a hundred and seventy pounds. They resemble the dog breed of German Shepard. Wolves are feral which means that they cannot be trained. Many people think that they can train these animals but most of those people who think that have ended up in the hospital because the animal has turned on them. These animals were built to hunt, kill, and destroy their prey.
Like many other modern day dogs breeds, the history of the Chihuahua is a mystery. Scientist and historians have speculated on how this breed came upon. There is a lot of speculations surrounding the true origins of the Chihuahua breed but we (the scientist and historians) have discovered during the middle to late eighteen hundreds in the ruins surrounding Casas Grandres in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.
