Police force and brutality has risen over the past years. Many people have gone through the police “take down” or “inspection”. I say it needs to come to an end. To many people have suffered from the police’s use of force. Multiple major encounters has happened since the year 1991, with Rodney King. He was beaten by Los Angeles police officers during an arrest on March 3, 1991. King was kicked and hit 56 times with police batons and electrically shocked using Taser guns. In addition to the three officers personally involved, 24 other other law enforcement officers watched the beating. Soon after he sues the police force and receives $3.8 million.

`From then on the police’s brutality got worse especially for colored people,the police often targets them. Mainly caucasian police officers attack them. Which makes every other caucasian look bad, when really they are not. A teenage girl who was tackled and pinned on the ground by a police officer at a Texas pool party in 2015 has filed a federal lawsuit claiming that the officer used excessive force, and is seeking $5 million in damages, the girl’s lawyer said on Thursday. Cell phone footage posted on YouTube showed the officer, Cpl. David Eric Casebolt, who is white, throwing the teenager, Dajerria Becton, who is black and was 15 at the time, to the ground in McKinney, north of Dallas, in June 2015.
