Realizing Your Dream
REALIZING YOUR DREAM
To realize is to be fully aware of something. It also means to give reality to something.
Dream on the other hand is a cherished desire, a person or something you feel strongly about. We are not talking about the kind of dream you have when you sleep.
Realizing your dream will simply be put as “Being fully aware of your dream and giving reality to it.
A lot of persons are afraid to dream because of the fear of not realizing their dreams. Many do not want to go through the struggle of actualizing their dreams so they settle for what they have or where they are; not knowing that settling for anything will turn into a struggle over time. Some other categories of persons live the dream of others as they like to follow the crowd, while some persons are actually living their dreams. These last set of people are those who you find happy whether wealthy, rich or average.
WAYS TO REALIZE YOUR DREAM
This will be viewed from two perspectives:
- Be fully aware of your dream
- Giving reality to your dream
BEING FULLY AWARE OF YOUR DREAM
To be fully aware of your dream is to have clarity on exactly what you want from life. Some persons are confused about this aspect of life. They complain about everything but when they are asked what they want out of life they give vague answers. Life will give to you what you want out of it.
GIVE REALITY TO YOUR DREAM
- Let Go of Your Fear: Fear is one of the greatest obstacles to realizing your dreams. Some are afraid of the spiritual, financial, emotional and physical implications/ requirements to realizing their dreams and so they shy away from it.
- Fuel Your Passion: it is only what you give attention to that grows properly. For something to grow properly, it has to be real as with time it will become clear. To my experienced readers, Dreaming is and could be a struggle, it will require your action and dedication but in the end it will be worth it.
I will like to conclude by quoting Jaeda DeWalt “We bring into being, the things we dream. So much of what we are is, limited or expanded by, what we think”
