-Objective Description:describing factually (EX: a recipe)

-Subjective Description: description of character, setting, etc.(EX: the beautiful brown-haired girl)

V. 4 Steps to Writing

1. Step 1: Prewriting:whatever it takes to get started

a. Brainstorming, Researchin, getting motivated

topic(bridge between Steps 1 &2)

2. Step 2: Rough Outline taking topic and dividing into subtopics.

a. Ordering of Subtopics

1. Chronological

2. Clematic (saving the best for last)

3. Space(spacial) "closest to home"

4. General to specific
