Hitler tried to reshape German society by using force and power. One of Hitler's main goals was to have tight control over the Nazi party. This tight control allowed Hitler to have control over everything. Having control over the police force was essential for Hitler because it forced the public to obey everything that he said. Hitler also obtained control over the economy, the military, and the media.

Hitler's power let to the persecution of Jews and the removal of artists and journalists. Literature and art works were also destroyed and condemned.
