The British were fighting with the French, and they both enlisted the aboriginals to fight for their sides against each other and their counterpart.

The Seven years war

Britain and Prussia were conflicting with France Austria, Saxony and Russia. France and Britain fought all over the globe in their colonies

Africa

They had a very good system of land development and a hierarchy of family lineage before the Europeans arrived

Africa was relatively uncolonized or harshly defended

American farming allowed rapid population growth through new techniques

A large amount of people sustained themselves by being iron workers and trading in crafts and resources

Much like Europe, they made alliances through marriage, which often contained "bridewealth", the opposite of dowries

Their traded goods weren't enough and soon they were being traded as slaves

Slaves gave the solution to the acute labour shortage in America

Millions of Africans were enslaved

Slaves had high death rates

Slaves entered slavery through "pawnship", trade for food or for offending the supernatural order, or if captured in war

Slaves lacked real power, but could still lead meaningful
