If Dr. King were alive today, he would say that his dream has not come true. The dream of Dr. King has not come true because there is still some racism and discrimination in the world today. Our ancestors fought a long and hard fight for us. Many of us don't take advantage of the things this struggle has made possible.
If Dr. King were alive today, he would say that his dream has not come true because there is still too much violence going on in today's world. Out of all the violence, most of it is black-on-black violence. Our race of people are dying everyday because of violence. Most of the people that are dying because of violence. Most of the people that are dying from violence are people from our teenage group. Most of the killings are gang-related. Teenagers join gangs just to fit in.
If Dr. King were alive today, he would say that his dream has not come true because many kids are dropping out of school and getting themselves locked up or killed. Without an education, you will get nowhere in life. Knowledge equals power. They are dropping out of school because they are unable to do the work.
