I read the book “For Laci” Written by Sharon Rocha. The book is written for Laci and Connor. This book is about the sad ending for Laci and her unborn son Connor. All was good for Laci and Scott Peterson. All that ended on the frightful day on December 24, 2002. The book goes through the entire life of Laci starting with her birth, meeting Scott and Her disappearance on December 24th, all the way through the trial of Scott Peterson.
This book is told in the perspective of Sharon Rocha, the mother of Laci. She tells the story in her point of view including all the emotions that she is feeling before, during and after Laci and Connor turn up missing.
There is a great quote that Sharon says to Scott Peterson during the time when she gets to speak after the trial. She says that “Divorce is always an option, not murder.” But Scott chose to end the marriage in a hideous murder, instead of divorce.
Fourteen years before Laci was murdered she did a worksheet about scary movies that she left a quote. “Watch out for whom you meet in your dreams, the woods, or motels. Scott was her dream man, or so she thought.
There were many secrets that Scott kept from Laci that weren’t discovered until after the Modesto Police department started looking in to the disappearance of Laci. No one knew that Scott bought a boat and had it stored in a local storage facility, Scott took out a $250,000 insurance policy on Laci when she got pregnant, also he started dating Amber Frey on November 20th of 2001. Plus Scott told Amy that he got home from golfing at 4:45pm on December 24th, and told the authorities that he was fishing.
On April 14th- two bodies were found on the shore
