Of mice and men compare and contrast
In the film the flash back to the incident in weed is shown way more dramatically by having the dress have a hole in it. George is then set in a train with Lennie sleeping next to him, this shows that it was hard to do anything back during the Great Depression. The actor that played Curley’s wife did a good job, although she did not look the way I thought she would. I could not think of a different actor to play her either.
There are two scenes that appear differently in the film than in the book were Curley’s wife talks to George. The first one is in the barn when George brings back the mule and she sits down on some bags and won’t leave George alone. The next one is in front of the bunk house when she talks about her records. My opinion is changed in the thought that she is not loyal, and she does not like Curley. I feel like the director did this because he did not want people to like her as a main character so he made her to flirty.
