One Flew Over the Cuckcoo's Nest
There are certain qualities that makes a person who they are. No two people are exactly alike. Happiness, anger, sadness, madness, etc. are all emotions that humans have in life. Nikos Kazantzakis stated "a person needs a little madness, or else they never dare cut the rope and be free". In the movie One Flew Over the Cuckcoo's Nest, many of the characters exemplify this quote, but one character in perticular, which is Billy.
In billy's case, having to live with a stuttering problem all his life, affected the way he lived and was treated. After watching the movie, the audience got to know Billy as being a friendly guy but had little or no self confidence and was a bit of a "mamma's boy". During the film, Mrs. Ratched, the nurse at the ward is close with Billy's mother. Although Billy technically isn't committed to the ward, he obeys Nurse Ratched, because he doesn't want her to tell his mother that he is disobeying her.
McMurphy, the main character in the film, brings one of his girl-friends Candy, to the ward. There, he introduces her to Billy and immediately Billy is attracted to her. McMurphy knows that Billy isn't popular with the ladies and figures he's never been layed. McMurphy gets an idea to
