Self-Reflective Assessment Results
For my self-assessment I decided to do the Keirsey Temperament Personality Sorter and after completing all of the questionnaire I learned that I was considered to have the personality type of what they call a "Guardian." The website stated a guardian is considered to be at the cornerstone of society, for they are the temperament given to serving and preserving our most important social institutions. The website also stated that guardians make up as much as 40 to 45 population, which came as a very big surprise to me I would have never thought that about half of the population had the same/similar personality type as myself. A lot of the other stuff that was included in the results I kind of knew I already possessed those types of personality traits, but this was some new things I learned about myself from the report. One thing I learned about myself from the results that never really crossed my mind was that I have a very high value for rules and tradition and that pretty much describes my work ethics as well I like to follow order and customs. Another thing the report brought to my attention was that my personality type, guardians, often worry that respect for authority, even a fundamental sense of right and wrong, is being lost. I definitely agree with this statement because I often find myself questioning other peoples values of right and wrong and I feel like peoples morals and ethics have been slowly taking a turn for the worse.
