Introductory Essay
A few key points in my diet that I know I must work on is variety, moderation,
and the one that I need most is activity. I have noticed since starting this class that I lack
all three of these in one way or another. When it comes to Vitamins, I take a multi-
vitamin, vitamin E 400eu, and vitamin C ester-c 500. I have noticed that my fat intake
has been way over the recommended amount, that is why I have to work on moderation.
My total calories for one day easily breaks the 2800 mark, maybe even double that since
my eating habits don't follow the correct time periods. I do know that most of the cooked
foods that I eat are made with olive oil and canola oil. Discretional calories like ice
scream with no sugar added is also a plus in my diet, but eating Hebrew National hot
dogs are a bad choice especially when too much is consumed in one day.
