The other day when I was getting into the elevator at my office building I saw Danielle, a good friend that I haven't seen in ages. We hugged, and she asked what was new with me.
I told her, "I deiced to go back to school with Axia College. Con you believe it, me back to school?"
She asked me how did I have time to go to back school with my busy schedule.
I told her "It's not what you think, all my classes are online. I don't have to go class and listen to instructor talk."
"I've heard about online schools, how does it work without stepping in to a class room?" She asked me.
I told Danielle, "Well I login to my class forum; it's kind of like the classroom, that's where I find all of my classmates and the instructor. In the forum is where we post our answers to discussion questions. It's just like any other classroom conversation; we just build off each other's responses. Except we call it threaded discussion."
Danielle interrupted me, "I don't understand how your threaded discussion works."
I smiled at her and told Danielle, "it's just like someone writing you an email and you respond back to them, you just keep building off each other's respond."
Danielle then asked me if my classmates and I are all logged in at the same time.
