My objective is to bring excitement, drive and determination to this position, based on the wide variety of activities this company has to offer. With this position I will be able to facilitate the development of the youth who participate in programs into well rounded individuals. I also have ideas on helping students prepare for the Statewide testing (ITBS, COGAT), plus programs for underprivileged and at-risk students. These are just some of my ideas for growing and developing our youth, which can build on the great foundation of activities that you already have in place.
Sport leagues at the YMCA are great. The kids are well coached and trained in that particular sport he/she is participating in. Working with the youth and adults has been and will be challenging but I stay positive. With kids, I make sure to keep them active and hold their attention. When dealing with a number of kids, you have to stay patient. You have to keep kids involved in the activity because they tend to switch their attention away from your activity. I try to make a positive impact on each child's life, whether it's in sports or in school, by just being a mentor or someone that is open for conversation. Working with adults, you have to be precise and efficient with your work. I try to helpful with assembling information out to those particular individuals.
