Financial Mixer
If I was to design a personal program for my community I would choose a program that would allow children with high financial stability be able to mix with children who come from low income homes without ever knowing. I think that in my community which is quite small tend to separate children in schools due to their parents financial history. I have noticed that even if a child lives on the other side of the city but the parents are a little higher on the financial line they will enroll their children in a school where the lower income students don't seem to attend.
My program would be designed so that children of all ages no matter what their history is would be able to be involved with each other without knowing who comes from where or has what. My program would be called JUST FOR KIDS. This program would enable children to get to know and understand other children from around the community. I would charge a small fee maybe about $10.00 a week and provide not only a interactive program but also child care so that parents can work. I believe this program would take place during the summer so that there would be more time for the children to interact with one another and also for the teachers to get to know the children. Also with this program I would include hands on interaction, along with verbal interaction and maybe even with permission from the parents, go on a field trip or two so that all the children would have a experience that they could remember forever. I think that I would hope charitable events to raise moneys to run this program and pick volunteers, because
