Beginning with a goal is important because this will be the foundation for the presentation. The goal is for the audience to benefit from the presentation. Focusing on the point of the presentation is crucial to captivating the audience. The audience must believe in what is being presented. This will encourage the audience to be more attentive. Moreover, is the audience there to be motivated, informed, or persuaded? By choosing one of those paths, the presentation will have a common goal with the audience. The audience is there for a reason, accommodate to their needs by concisely portraying the point of view. They will be furnished with a great experience.
Conduct Research
Conducting research will support or re-emphasize thoughts and ideas. By brainstorming the ideas for the presentation, a thorough outline of different points of venues can be viewed. Research each point by finding similar topics. The research can be done on the internet, library, or with interviews. This will support the ideas that are presented.

Managing fear is a major factor for presentations. Fear can hinder the presentation by being unfocused. Practice the presentation by reading key points out loud.
