Interior Design

I'm a 22 year old student who just transferred from Lansing Community College this year. I lived in Lansing my whole life. When I was nineteen I moved out into an apartment with my friend because I was tired of living by my parents rules. After a while I started to realize how good I had it and how great my parents were.

I am here because I would like to further my education and obtain a degree in Interior Design. I have only been here a week and already I feel I have learned a lot, and not just from the information I get from class. It's so easy to just pick up things from people you meet or even from walking down the hallways.

What brought me to CMU was that I heard they had a really good Design program and all the people I've spoken to say they have really enjoyed it and recommend doing it. I also came here because I wanted to get away from home yet if I ever needed something or just wanted to see my
