I would like to welcome you to our beautiful island and congratulate you for choosing Cyprus for your holidays and your wish to meet our civilization our people and our culture. Before you start your trip I am going to try and introduce you the beauty of Cyprus and I am sure that you will not be disappointed.

Cyprus is the third largest island, it is located in the Mediterranean Sea and it is called the diamond of the Mediterranean Sea. Aphrodite the goddess of beauty was born in Cyprus and that's why it is also called Aphrodite's island. Throughout antiquity travelers came here to pay her a tribute. Today Cyprus is a modern country that combines European culture with ancient enchantments.

Cyprus is blessed with beauty, natural beauty. The climate in Cyprus is warm in the summer and rainy in the winter, but our winter is not very long or very heavy and therefore you can enjoy sun and sandy beaches most of the time. Every season has a charm and beauty of its own. Here you will discover a compact place of fascinating golden beaches and high mountain peaks like Troodos with delightful hill resorts and traditional hotels. There are also a lot of vineyards and attractive and beautiful olive trees. A variety of plantations gives to the island a picture of flourish and blossom everywhere.
