"Hit it," I said to the floating boat in front of me. Thinking to myself what did I get myself into this time? Will I survive this? Will it be fun? What am I going to get out of this? If only I knew the answer to that question before I even jumped in the water. The boat starts roaring out of the water. Here comes the jerk, a jerk that you think you are so ready for but when it hits you, you have no idea what just happened until you realize that you are being pulled out the water by this machine that has one objective in mind and one thing only and that is to get you up on top of the water.
It all started with my mother calling me up on the telephone telling me that I need to quite my job and move down to Glendo.
"You would love it so much, plus there are hot guys here."
"Hold up, what are you talking about, you want me to move down there and leave
everything up here, to go work down there."
"Well, yeah what is so wrong with that, and you will be with me."
So of course never wanting to disobey the mother figure, I quite my job, filled the car up with gas, and drove the two hour drive to Glendo, Wy.
