Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant have both stood out as NBA's greatest players of all time. Both have brought a whole new look on the game. With out these two players the NBA would not be the same league that it is now. Their styles of play and the way they carry themselves are very similar. These are two men who anyone who loves the game of basketball looks up to and are amazed by.

When Michael Jordan was little his dad always wanted him to play baseball. As a kid he played little league and did well with it. He always had a passion for the game of basketball; therefore, in the ninth grade he decided to try out for the high school varsity basketball team. However, the coach of the team cut Michael because he was not good enough. This only motivated Jordan even more and increased his desire to perfect his game. Day after day, month after month, he worked so hard and finally made the team the following year. He continued to sharpen his skills and worked hard enough receive a scholarship to play college basketball at the University of North Carolina. He did very well in college, which led to his team winning the national title during his sophomore year. After the championship, NBA scouts were going crazy about this new name to the game, Michael Jordan. Instead of finishing basketball at the University of North Carolina, Jordan decided to go to the NBA. During the 1984 NBA draft, Jordan got drafted third to the Chicago Bulls.
