When something is "meaningful" it has great significance to an individual and leaves an impact on them. It can either support or disagree with what they think or believe, but is important enough for them to look back upon and discuss. I believe that when something is meaningful to a person it will stick in their head. We all read a lot of different types of readings on a daily basis such as text books, newspapers, and magazines; however, we do not always remember everything we read in the morning paper, certain things stand out in our heads because they had a greater meaning to us.
While reading the book, The Power of Observation for one of my classes, I came across this paragraph which left a great impact on me.
