Nancy Leigh DeMoss taught us about modesty and what we should wear on our bodies, thoughts, and words. Nancy is an amazing speaker and motivator.
The first section of Nancy's speech consists of "what is modesty". We answered true or false questions about what we thought modesty was. We should be privileged that we don't have to wear robes and turbans, but at the same time should not take advantage of what God wants and does not want us to wear.
The next section was section two. This section was about what our clothing says about us to others; strangers, family and friends. Clothing and appearance sends a message. Uniforms are necessary for a career. "You can look at some people and think, She looks like a wealthy woman." says Nancy. In Luke 16 we hear about a man dressed in purple and he was rich and wealthy.
