Pow C: "Crossing the bridge"

Process: The first step I took in trying to figure out the shortest amount of time was to just start guessing. I put a whole bunch of stuff together. I tried different ways with different people going with each other at different times. I ran into some high minutes but then I also ran into some low minutes. I had minutes as high as 27. Each time I would make a new way and the minutes would get lower and lower until I got to 19 minutes. I was certain this was the answer because I could not think of a better way. My conclusion was that Ally and Doretha would walk over which would be 10 minutes and then Ally would walk back which would be 1 minute. Then Ally would take Brian over which would be 2 minutes. She would then come back which would be another minute. She would finally take Carlos over which would be 5 minutes. Therefore it would all add up to 19 minutes. After a couple of days I decided to go back over my Pow to make sure I was completely right. It came to me after a little deliberation. The lowest amount of minutes you can have is 17 minutes.

Solution: In conclusion, my solution as to what the lowest possible amount of minutes there can be is 17 minutes. The way this would work is that Ally took over Brain which would be 2 minutes. Ally would than come back which would add another minute. Carlos and Doretha would
