Mind of a rapist

As the video plays am thinking "man, another old film we have to watch" but this one really got my attention. I always wonder what is going though the mind of a killer or a rapist, why would a person set out to kill or to hurt other human being. This question may go unanswered for years to come. My assumption is the rapist childhood scars never heeled, he was sexual molested as a child and the only way to ease his pain was to efflict pain on others, assuming hurting someone will put him in the right state of mind. As the rapist set out to cause pain, he's hoping to fix his problems as well. Fixing what someone has done to him, as a little boy by taking his pride and dignity away. A pride less man
