Stereotypes come in all shapes in sizes. Must people think of prejudice as whites against blacks but this is not true. Gordon Allport a Harvard psychologist said that prejudice is determined by the way one thinks of someone off of what they see them as. For instants if we where to see a man dressed in a three-piece suit most people would assume that he was wealthy and had money. Today there are all types of prejudice around the world.
One type of stereotype we see today is hatred towards color. Back in the day whites and blacks where the topic of prejudice that we mainly saw but toward it's changed. For example after 911 incident people started having stereotypes for dark skinned people saying how they all are terrorists and that they should go back to there on country. All this is formed due to something that happen that many people feel affected them badly even if it was just one occasion.
Another stereotype seen today is obesity. Today culture in America especially many people act like being over weight is wrong. I have witnessed this
