It is almost inevitable that every single human on the face of the Earth would have a favorite book or story. In fact, it is quite possible that their favorite book might be made in to a movie after a period of time. My favorite book that I have read would have to be The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

The Fault in Our Stars is my favorite book because it is a modern-day realistically told story about how love is a flame that can burn out quickly. What stuck out from this book for me was the amount of overwhelming love I could feel within the characters. The book was almost depicted as real in my mind because I felt like I was standing inside the book with the characters living their lives. While reading this book I had a strong feeling that a certain character was going to die by the end. When approaching the end of the book, I realized I was only half right. There was a death, but it was the complete opposite character that I had thought. John Green had written the biggest plot twist I had read in a long time. I could not believe how impressed and shocked I was with that book. The feeling the story gives me is a feeling I could have over and over again. It is one of the only books I have read multiple times.

Although, The Fault in Our Stars was made in to a movie, it is not my favorite movie depicted by a book. The one movie that I think is perfect as a book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Both the book and the movie were very moving for me while experiencing. I really enjoyed the way Stephen Chbosky chose to wrote this novel. He wrote it in several letters the main character writes to his nameless pen-pal about his life. While reading this book I was reminded constantly of his emotions and feelings for people and his surroundings. Chbosky seemed to have chosen this style of writing to ensure the reader knew there was an upcoming piece of surprising information.
