"All humans are born truthful and die liars." (Vauvenargues). The question who lies more men or women? In all honesty cannot be answered in the way most people tend to go about it. Men and women lie equally; it is in the way and what they lie about that out weighs the other. When researching this topic it was quite apparent that the issue of who lies more men or women has been gnawed over a great deal. As to which sex lies more than the other, the results will be inconclusive, because humans in general are dishonest.
The majority of men are liars in that they try to over compensate or exaggerate for their lack of something else in another area. With men, presentation is the larger aspect of their lying. Most men also lie so they wont have to deal with the consequences of what they did or did not do. "When women lie it tends to be verbal, plain old-fashioned lies with words. But when men lie, it is often nonverbal, as in doing what he says he would not do or not doing what he promised he would do. Either way, it's a lie, male version or female version. So as seen, men often tend to lie when it is convenient or in there best interest just as others do.
Most women tend to lie on a day-to-day basis. Majority of all women lie in some form or another, although they lie more about physical appearance than men do. "Women often "lie" in their appearance to be more attractive to men. For instance every morning the majority of women wake up to pick out their outfit for the day, but what is not realized is the reason that this is done. It is so that they will look more appealing. Women often purchase articles of clothing in which it may make them appear skinner; they wear girdles to look slimmer; they wear makeup to hide blemishes; they wear wigs and contact lenses to change the color of their eyes,
