UNFORGETTABLE SCENE

It was one of those typical days where everything was normal. Cars and motorcycles passed by and out of sight. The noise from all directions filled the whole area like a buzzing sound. Surprisingly, people did not seem to bother by the noises at all, but rather went about with their daily business. Nobody had taken a moment to see what was happening around them on this busiest street of downtown Cambodia. There was a crash that finally caught their attention. Then, they started to search for the cause of this mystery crash.

A beautiful, eye-catching girl was riding a brand new, red Honda motorcycle, which was well-polished, along this crowded street where vehicles were moving at a snail pace while people jaywalked back and forth between this busy street. Her long black hair was blown by the wind smoothly, and her brown eyes were focusing on the traffic. She wore a typical school uniform consisting of a white shirt and a blue skirt. The embroidered school logo on her white shirt indicated that she was a student of University of Phnom Penh. At first, her attention was on the road, then for a second, she took her eyes off the road and glanced about her surroundings. Suddenly, her attention was drawn back to the road after struggling to turn away from the pedestrian who came out of nowhere. Her face turned pale,

and she was in shock. At that instant, the driver who had been sitting inside the car that was parked along the curb immediately opened his door without observing whether there was anyone in the way. Unfortunately, the girl was at his door way when the door was suddenly swung opened.

The girl was thrown off her motorcycle by the swung-opened door and fell onto the middle of the road. She banged her head forcefully onto the street and immediately, blood started to ooze, forming a pool of blood on the spot. The oncoming truck was coming at a fast speed, but the girl was blacked out and still she struggled to gather all her strength to get up from the painful fall. The truck came closer and closer to her without slowing down the speed.
